Our Services

Independent Supported Living

Hamlet Abbey can support young people with various characteristics and needs including:

  • Males and females aged 16 to 25 years old.
  • Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC).
  • Young people who experience emotional behavioural difficulties.
  • Young people that are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
  • Young people involved in crime, conduct disorder, and anti-social behaviour.
  • Young people who require support with their independent living skills.
  • Young people who require close supervision, monitoring and significant support. 


Level of Support

Semi-Independent support ranges from:

  • Low, medium & high shared accommodation
  • Stand-alone accommodation
  • Staffed 24 hour accommodation
  • Outreach work
  • Emergency 24hr referrals

When a young person is placed with us we work with the young person to develop a regular routine which enhances their quality of life.

Examples of the basic tasks we will monitor and support the young people with are;

  • Registering with the GP, dentist and optician
  • Support with shopping and food preparation
  • Support with managing a household and all aspects of daily living
  • Support in managing and attending appointments in the community and with other professionals
  • Support to access education, employment or training
  • Managing incidents
  • Support with accessing information about leisure
  • opportunities available to them in the local area
  • Support with managing any benefits and applications
  • Support with managing their finances and budgeting
  • Support with understanding and accessing opportunities to be able to make a positive contribution
  • Support in learning how to keep themselves safe in the community and their own home

Adults Supported Living

At Hamlet Abbey, our supported living services helps adults with a range of needs to live independently and safely in their local communities. This includes individuals with autism, brain injuries, learning disabilities, Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS), forensic needs, mental health needs and those who present with behaviours that may challenge.


We work in a person-centred way, which means that our support and care is completely bespoke, and perfectly matched to the unique needs, preferences and aspirations of each individual.


 Service Users will be offered the opportunity to be as independent as possible within a warm, caring rehabilitative environment. We endeavour to reduce stigma and isolation, by promoting social stimulation and maintaining social networks and relationships.

  Staffing Solutions

We are a nationwide Health and Social Care staff provider. Our focus is on providing high-quality service and client satisfaction – we do everything we can to meet the expectations of our clients.  The staff we provide is fully trained and compliant. It ranges from Registered General Nurses (RGNs), Registered Mental Nurses (RMNs), Health Care Assistants (HCAs), Support Workers, kitchen staff and cleaning staff.
